Samsung’s Unpacked Part 2 event brought Bespoke customization to the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Watch4 series which lets you cater the devices to your own style. Staying on the style theme, Samsung announced a collaboration with French—Japanese electronic music and fashion label Maison Kitsuné for limited editions of the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Buds2.
Galaxy Watch4 Kitsuné Edition comes in a
single 40mm Bluetooth-only version and features the fashion house’s signature
Fox logo on the Moonrock Beige colored watch strap and also brings a second
Stardust Gray color strap with the brand’s name spelled out. The UI also gets a
makeover with special Kitsuné watch faces. Everything else from the specs to
the One UI Watch 3 interface on top of Wear OS is identical to the regular
Galaxy Watch4. You can peep our Galaxy Watch4 review here to get a better
feeling of what it brings to the table.
Samsung also announced a slew of new
features coming to the Watch4 series via a software update later today. These
include improved fall detection, more watch face option customizations, new
animations, overhauled gesture controls and the aforementioned Bespoke
customization options.
The Galaxy Buds2 Maison Kitsuné Edition
come in the same Moonrock Beige color as the limited edition Galaxy Watch4 and
also sports parts of Fox mascot on each bud. The charging case gets a Stardust
Gray leather case while everything else from the sound and features is the same
as the regular version. Here’s our Galaxy Buds2 review in case you’re wondering
how they perform in our tests.
Galaxy Buds2 Maison Kitsuné Edition will
be available for US$ 249.99 while the Galaxy Watch4 Maison Kitsuné Edition will
retail for US$ 399.99. Both will go on sale later today and will be available in
limited quantities across select markets.
Both also come with an NFC card in the box
that lets you install a special Maison Kitsuné theme on your Samsung Galaxy
smartphone. Samsung and Kitsuné also collaborated on a music playlist that is
