Under the new Victus by HP line, two gaming laptops with mid-tier specs have been released in India. The two devices will run either AMD or Intel. Based on the company's claims, the Victus by HP 16 is designed using the OMEN's DNA which is also known as the brand's premium line of gaming laptops.
The AMD variant's design comes in a Mica silver color, whereas the Intel version is going to have the Performance Blue color. Both versions come with 16.1-inch FHD resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 300 nits. The screen has thin bezels that made it look like a 15-inch laptop.
The AMD model is powered by either a 7nm 3.3GHz-4.2GHz Ryzen 5 5600H or the 7nm 3.2GHz-4.4GHz Ryzen 7 5800H processor both are made under Zen 3 architecture. The Graphics card that can be used here is up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile which is the higher variant with 6GB video memory. But keep in mind the base version will start at GTX 1650 video card. For its RAM it will be 16GB and can be upgraded up to 32GB, while the storage is 512GB SSD.
Moving to the Intel model, it also has two options to choose from, you can either select 10nm 3.1GHz-4.4GHz 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11300H or the 10nm 2.3GHz-4.6GHz Core i7-11800H. For its RAM it's paired with 16GB up to 32GB upgradeable and the storage is 512GB SSD. The graphics card will be the same as the AMD version, which will start at GTX 1650 and up to RTX 3060.
Another notable feature it offers is the speakers which the company claims that its housing, bottom chassis, outer boxes, and fiber cushions are made using 100 percent eco-friendly materials. Judging from the specs sheet it offers, the HP Victus 16 should be able to handle 1080p gaming on the currently demanding AAA titles.
