The Chinese company Vivo has officially announced the affordable Y12A smartphone equipped with a 6.51-inch IPS HD + display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The device runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. The product combines eight ARM Cortex A53 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, an Adreno 505 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X6 LTE cellular modem.
The amount of RAM is 3 GB. Flash module with a capacity of 32 GB can be supplemented with a microSD card. A side fingerprint scanner is responsible for user identification. The front camera is located in a small screen cutout: a sensor with 8 megapixels is in use. At the back is a dual camera setup with a 13MP main unit and a 2MP secondary sensor.
Power is provided by a powerful rechargeable battery – 5000 mAh. Supports 10 watt charging and 5 watt reversing charging. A standard 3.5mm headphone jack is provided. The Vivo Y12A is available for an estimated price of US$ 145.
