Samsung Galaxy A82 is on the way, an increasingly large pile of leaks suggests, and it will appeared under the alleged name Quantum2 in some markets. Today live shots from Chinese platform Weibo confirmed the phone’s design - plain back with a triple camera in a rectangular bump.
Sadly, the Galaxy A82 is a successor of
the Galaxy A80 only by name - the new phone will not inherit the rotating
camera that was a marvelous piece of technology back in 2019. The current
design also means no full-screen experience - there is a punch hole in the
center for the selfie camera.
The front appears to have 2.5D curved sides,
while the back is plain color. The camera island has a single LED flash and a
trio of snappers. The leaked photos did not come with any specs, but we expect
a 6.7” Super AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 860 chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery.
