Earlier today, we covered a rumor about the upcoming Motorola G60 and G40 Fusion which revealed both devices will launch with 120Hz displays, HDR10 support, 6,000 mAh batteries and the Snapdragon 732G at the helm. Based on previous speculations, the Moto G60 will be rebranded as the G40 Fusion (model number XT2147-1) in India and Brazil and is said to pack a 64MP primary camera and 16MP selfie shooter in the same body as the G60. The rest of the specs are said to be identical to the G60.
Two new Geekbench listings now confirm
both devices will indeed pack the midrange Snapdragon 732G chipset. The Moto
G60 listing also shows 6GB RAM and Android 11. The single-core score comes in
at 515 points while the multi-core performance is 1,375 points. The G40 Fusions
is listed with 4GB RAM yet manages 519 single-core points and 1,425 points in
the multi-core department.
The main difference between the two
devices is expected to come around the back where the G60 will offer Samsung’s
108MP ISOCELL HM2 shooter while the G40 Fusion is said to deliver a 64MP
shooter. In related news, Motorola India teased a new Moto G phone is coming
soon which could just be the Moto G40 Fusion. As usual, we’ll update you with
more info once it emerges.
