The iQOO 7 announced in January will debut in India on April 26 and will be sold exclusively through Amazon.in. Alongside the iQOO 7, iQOO will also introduce the iQOO 7 Legend in the country, designed in partnership with BMW M Motorsport. In China, it shares the internals with the regular iQOO 7 but comes with a different design. Its rear panel is covered with leather, and you can see BMW's colorful stripes running across the length.
The iQOO 7 is powered by the Snapdragon
888 SoC and runs Android 11-based OriginOS out of the box, but in India, it will boot Funtouch OS since OriginOS is currently China-exclusive. The flagship
smartphone sports a 6.62" FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen with a punch hole in
the center for the 16MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader underneath for
password-less unlocking.
The back cover of the phone houses a
triple camera setup comprising 48MP primary, 13MP telephoto, and 13MP ultrawide
units. And keeping the entire package up and running is a 4,000 mAh battery
with 120W charging, although iQOO 7 Legend's Indian units will only go up to
66W, which is a bummer.
It's currently unclear how much exactly
the iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend will cost in India, but we know the regular
variant will be priced under INR 40,000 (US$ 530/€ 445).
