Chinese brand Gionee is still releasing new phones for its local market and the latest model is called the M3. It packs a 6.53-inch HD+ resolution screen with a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie shooter and is powered by the MediaTek P60 chipset with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.
The back houses an octagon cutout for the
16MP primary camera, 5MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP modules. The phone packs
a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 18W charging. Dimensions come in at 163.2 mm
x 75.9 mm x 9.3 mm, while the weight rounds out to 201 grams.
The Gionee M3 comes in black, green, sky,
and gray colors. Pricing starts at CNY 899 (US$ 137) for the 6/128GB model. There’s
also a 8/128GB trim for CNY 959 (US$ 147) and a 8/256GB model for CNY 1,059
(US$ 162). There’s no official word from Gionee if the M3 will make its way to
markets outside China.
