Garmin Vivoactive 3 Element


Garmin has launched the Vivoactive 3 Element in India priced at ₹ 15,990 (US$ 219). This wearable can be purchased from either Garmin online store, Amazon India, or Tata Cliq in the country. It is the brand’s cheapest smartwatch offering in the region and comes in a single grey option.

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 Element sports a 1.2-inch transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. This screen is protected by chemically strengthened glass. Further, the casing of the smartwatch features stainless steel and fiber-reinforced polymer, whereas the strap is made of silicone.

Being a fitness-focused wearable, the product ships with all the essential sensors such as optical heart rate sensor, barometric altimeter, compass, accelerometer, thermometer, GPS, and GLONASS. As for connectivity, the smartwatch uses Bluetooth and ANT+.

The watch connects with smartphones via the Connect IQ app, which is available on both Google Play Store for Android and Apple App Store for iPhones. Just like any other companion app, this application can be used to modify various settings on the smartwatch.

As far as features are concerned, the wearable comes with more than 10 pre-loaded GPS and indoor sports modes. It also supports app notifications, VO2 Max, heart rate monitoring, stress level monitoring, customizable workouts, Samsung SmartThings controls, and more. Last but not least, the Garmin Vivoactive 3 Element is 5ATM water-resistant and can last up to 8 days in smartwatch mode but only up to 13 hours in GPS mode.
