Oppo is going to unveil its Reno5 lineup later this week and we expected three devices - a vanilla Oppo Reno5 5G, a mightier Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G, and a flagship-tier Oppo Reno5 Pro+ 5G. However, the family might be even larger, as one leakster on Twitter revealed there is an Oppo Reno5 4G incoming with four cameras and SuperVOOC charging.
The LTE-only Reno5 will bring a 6.43”
AMOLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. It will pack a 44MP
selfie camera, while the quad setup on the back is 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP,
featuring main and ultrawide units and two auxiliary sensors. The chipset of
this Reno5 4G is said to be Snapdragon 720G, but no word on RAM and storage.
The battery capacity is going to be 4,310 mAh and it will charge at up to 50W.
In the past twelve months, Oppo launched
its Reno devices in China with 5G, later bringing them to overseas markets with
different chipsets and a tweaked design. So we are yet to see if this 4G model
will be part of the initial announcement or it will come later as a member of
the international lineup.
