Expanding its lineup of laptop computers, Lenovo has launched its new gaming laptop — Lenovo Legion Slim 7, which is powered by the AMD Ryzen H-series mobile processors, which is being used for the first time on this premium model. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch display with up to 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) screen resolution and offers IPS VESA DisplayHDR 400 panel which supports 500 nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut, and Dolby Vision.
It is powered by the next-level AMD Ryzen
4000 H-series processors, paired along with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with
Max-Q Design GPU. It features up to AMD Ryzen 9 4900H Mobile Processor with 8
ultra-responsive cores. The device packs up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 2TB M.2
NVMe PCIe SSD of storage. It offers a white backlit TrueStrike keyboard and a
fingerprint sensor that is integrated into the power button.
The built-in 720p HD webcam has a privacy
shutter. It is equipped with a 2 x 2W Dolby Atmos Speaker System with Sound
Radar by Dolby. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 AX1650, Bluetooth v5.1, 2
x USB Type-C, DisplayPort, USB 3.1 Gen 2, 1 x 4-in-1 SD Card Reader, 1 x 3.5mm
audio jack, and 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2.
It is running the Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
operating system and is powered by a
71WHr battery that offers up to 9.6 hours of battery life on a single
charge and also comes with support for Rapid Charge Pro. It is cooled by Lenovo
Legion Coldfront 2.0 for the heavy-duty workload. Lenovo says that the Legion
Slim 7 laptop is made from aerospace-grade aluminum for extreme lightness and
less bulk, measuring 17.9mm (0.71 inches) thin and weighing at 1.86 kilograms.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 gaming laptop
will be available for purchase in the United States starting in October, with
an expected price starting at US$ 1,370.
