Xiaomi recently teased the launch of a new
MIJIA projector with the launch set for September 2. Indeed, the Chinese tech
giant has unveiled the MIJIA Projector Youth Edition 2 under crowdfunding. The
projector will retail for 2599 yuan (US$ 380) but under crowdfunding, it is
priced at 2199 yuan (US$ 321).
The MIJIA Projector Youth Edition 2
arrives with a 1920×1080 screen resolution, supports HDR10 decoding, and has a
maximum brightness of 460 ANSI lumens. It also comes with a far-field voice and
an extremely low working noise of 28dB. The projector is equipped with two
highly sensitive microphones, supporting anti-noise recognition technology and
wake-up technology. It also features customized special voices for projection
scenes.
The MIJIA Projector Youth Edition 2 can be
deeply linked with MIJIA loT. When the projector is turned on, it can
automatically turn off the lights/curtains. It can also be linked to the video
doorbell. When someone presses the doorbell, the doorbell video will be
automatically played on the projection.
In addition, the projector supports side
projection function, with ±45° trapezoidal calibration for left and right, up
and down, and is equipped with a high-sensitivity camera which effectively
improves the focusing speed. The real-time auto-focus system prevents thermal
defocus.
