The TCL TABMID is a
midrange tablet aimed for multimedia consumption. It features an 8-inch FHD LCD
with TCL’s NXTVISION tech and large top and chin bezels. There's a 5MP
front-facing camera and an 8MP rear shooter. It features a plastic build and
weighs in at 325 grams. Under the hood, we have the Snapdragon 665 while the
battery comes in at 5,550 mAh.
On the software side it's the same TCL UI
on top of Android 10 and there’s also a Kids Mode with a child-friendly UI and
added parental controls. The TABMID comes with 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity and
will be available in select markets starting Q4 this year. Pricing starts at US$ 270/€ 230.
