Oppo introduced the F17 and F17 Pro in
India last week but it didn't reveal the pricing and availability details of
the non-Pro model. Today it announced that the base model of the Oppo F17 with
6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at INR 17,990 (US$ 245/€ 205) and for INR 2,000
(US$ 27/€ 23) more, you'll get 8GB RAM. Both models are up for pre-orders on
Amazon.in and Flipkart in Classic Silver, Dynamic Orange and Navy Blue colors,
with sales kicking off from September 21.
The Oppo F17 is powered by the Snapdragon
662 SoC and boots Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 on top. It comes with a
6.44" FullHD+ Super AMOLED display that has a fingerprint underneath for biometric
authentication, and a notch up top for the 16MP selfie camera. Around the back,
you get a square-shaped quad camera setup, which is a combination of 16MP
primary, 8MP ultrawide and two 2MP mono cameras. The Oppo F17 is 7.45mm thin
and ships with a 4,015 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
The F17 Pro that was announced alongside
the regular F17 went on sale earlier this week for INR 22,990 (US$ 315/€ 265). It
has a Helio P95 SoC at the helm, comes with a total of six cameras (two on the
front and four at the back), and packs a 4,015 mAh battery.
