The LG K62 sets the tone for the trio. It has a 6.6” LCD with 1080p+ resolution (20:9) that will help you create and consume content – these phones are meant for a young, sociable audience.
The a 48MP camera on the back can start a
YouTube Live stream straight from the camera app. There is also a 5 MP ultra
wide shooter (115°) and two 2 MP modules (macro and depth). AI CAM recommends
the optimal camera settings for the scene and subject matter. The 28 MP selfie
camera is exclusive to the K62, it is located in a punch hole in the screen.
This model also gets the most storage, 128 GB, which is expandable via the
microSD card.
The phone is powered by an unnamed chipset
(2.3 GHz octa-core CPU) with 4 GB of RAM. It runs Android 10 out of the box and
there’s a Google Assistant button on its side. Also on the side is the
fingerprint reader.
The new K-series trio passed eight
categories of MIL-STD-810G testing: high/low temperature, temperature shock, vibration,
shock and humidity. That doesn’t make them particularly rugged as they weren’t
tested for drops and they are certainly not water resistant. Like the other
three, the K62 has a 4,000 mAh battery that is charged over USB-C (the port has
USB 3.1 Gen 1 connectivity).
