The Android TV market is getting crowded
with a range of smart televisions from various manufacturers including new
entrants. Sony, which is known for its wide range of smart televisions has
launched its latest Smart Android TV in India — Sony 55-inch X7400H 4K UHD.
The Sony X7400H flaunts a 55-inch 4K UHD
panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with a 50Hz refresh rate and
178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by the Sony X1 processor paired with 4K
X Reality Pro Graphics and 16GB storage. Further, the TV can upscale FHD
content to almost 4K resolution with the 4K X Reality Pro feature.
As for the connectivity, this Smart TV has
built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet port and built-in Chromecast. Coming to the
ports, it features 3 x HDMI ports, 2 x USB-A ports, PC Audio in, PC D-sub,
headphone jack, digital audio output, and RF connectivity input and output.
There is no support for analog audio input.
It comes with Google Play Store and
supports OTT apps like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Sony Liv,
Bigflix, Zee5 and the remote has a dedicated Netflix button. Lastly, it
features 2 speakers with a total output of 20W with Bass Reflex speaker system.
