Camera manufacturer Lomography has unveiled a new
addition to their range in the form of the first analogue instant camera which
has been specifically designed for Instax square film.
The Lomo’Instant Square camera has taken to Kickstarter this week
and is now available to back with pledges starting from US$ 129 and shipping
expected to take place during February 2018.
Lomo’Instant Square features a 95mm glass lens for
super sharp photos, an advanced automatic mode that makes sure every shot is
perfectly exposed, as well as tons of creative features — unlimited multiple
exposures, a self timer, a portrait glass lens attachment and stacks more.
There’s even a remote control shutter release tucked away in the camera body,
which you can whip out whenever you need to shoot from the center of the
action.
The Lomo’Instant Square is a response to consistent,
popular demand from analogue lovers worldwide hungry to try out the iconic square
format. With a compact, foldable design that comes in five different colors,
the Lomo’Instant Square is a box full of creativity that fits right into your
life. It’s the sum of everything we’ve learned through our years developing
instant cameras, our interaction with our community, and our seven previous
Kickstarter campaigns — all tied up with a dose of good madness.
Works with Fujifilm Instax Square Film to give you a
perfectly balanced frame with a scale of 1:1 — the iconic format that made
instant photography what it is today. It dares you to make your subject the
center of the universe, and leaves plenty of space for creative composition.
