Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has started teasing
the launch of new Redmi smartphone in India on August 4th on Amazon.in. The
teaser shows Prime and the reflection inside the phone shows NINE, which
clearly confirms the Redmi 9 series, but it is not clear which phone the
company is planning to launch since there are Redmi 9, 9A and 9C smartphones in
the series, all with a water-drop notch screen.
To remind you, the Redmi 9 features a
6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD water-drop, MediaTek Helio G80 8nm SoC, 13-megapixel
primary rear camera, 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens, 5-megapixel 4cm
macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8-megapixel camera on
the front. It has a textured anti-fingerprint back, rear-mounted fingerprint
scanner and pack a 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging, but comes with 10W
charger in the box.
The Redmi 9A and 9C pack a 6.53-inch LCD
Dot Drop notch screen and a 5000mAh battery. The Redmi 9C is powered by 2.3GHz
Octa Core MediaTek Helio G35 processor and the Redmi 9A is powered by 2GHz Octa
Core MediaTek Helio G25 processor.
The Redmi 9C comes with a 13-megapixel
rear camera along with a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth
sensor and also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Redmi 9A
features a single 13-megapixel rear camera. Both the phones come with a
5-megapixel front camera. We should know more details in the coming days and
the price at the launch on August 4th.
