It seems that there is a new
pair of OPPO TWS earbuds coming as the new hearables have been patented with
the Chinese patent office (CNIPA).
Oppo’s latest wireless earbuds adopt an
in-ear design as well as a stem that is just like the Enco W51 TWS earphones
that were released earlier this month in China. The major difference between
the two is that the recently certified model has a short stem whereas the W51’s
stem is quite long. The back of the earbuds also has a slight curvature. Last
but not least, it features a circular gold ring and a cut-out most likely for
noise cancellation.
Unfortunately, there are no details
regarding the specifications of the new OPPO TWS earbuds. However, we expect
them to include advanced features like an active noise cancellation microphone.
Considering the fact that it has a short stem, it is likely coming with a
highly-sensitive microphone. Other expected features are Bluetooth 5.0, IP
water resistance rating, and possibly a durable battery. The wireless charging
is basically confirmed as the design reveals a pair of pogo pins for charging
the earbuds inside the charging case. Worth noting that the patent shows the
earbuds in a Black hue. However, Oppo is likely to unveil additional color
options.
In related news, Oppo unveiled a new pair
of truly wireless earphones in India. The new hearables are dubbed OPPO Enco
W11 TWS. The new earphones have been priced in India at Rs 2,999 (US$ 40) and
will go on sale tomorrow June 27. Unlike the earphones on the recent patent,
the Enco W11 TWS has a bean-shaped form factor. That’s a new trending form
factor for earphones. They boast Bluetooth 5.0 support, touch controls, IP54
water resistance rating. According to the Chinese giant, the new TWS earbuds
can offer up to five hours of music playback on a single charge.
