The OPPO A52 and OPPO A72 were first
announced in China back in April. They have also made their way to other
markets including India and Malaysia. Now OPPO has announced the two phones in
Germany.
Quite a number of OPPO phones this year
have support for 5G but there are still several areas where 4G is used. For
those living in these areas and want a budget 4G phone, the new OPPO A52 and
OPPO A72 should cater to your needs.
The OPPO A52 is priced at € 199 and for
that price, you get a phone with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch hole at
the top left corner for the selfie camera. It comes with a Snapdragon 665
processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage.
The A52 also has a 12MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP
quad rear cameras, a 16MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner,
and a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The phone runs
Android 10 out of the box and buyers will be able to choose between Twilight
Black and Stream White color variants.
For € 249, you can pick up the OPPO A72,
which has the same screen size and resolution and also comes with the same
Snapdragon 665 processor. There is 4GB of RAM too but you get 128GB of storage.
The primary rear camera is a 48MP f/1.7
sensor and it comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, two 2MP cameras.
The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor just like that of the OPPO A52.
There is a 5000mAh battery under the hood
with support for 18W fast charging, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted
fingerprint scanner. It ships with ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10 and will be
available in Twilight Black and Aurora Purple.
You can pick up either of the two phones
on the German online store OTTO.
