An unknown Asus device bearing model code
I003DD and believed to be the ROG Phone III popped up on Geekbench last month
with 8GB RAM. Now another Asus device (I003D) which is likely another version
of the same phone has passed through the benchmark database and it has 12GB
RAM. Just like the 8GB RAM variant, the 12GB version runs Android 10 and has
Snapdragon 865 SoC at the helm, but other than this Geekbench doesn't reveal
any other details about the smartphone.
There's no word from Asus about the launch
date of the ROG Phone III yet, but reports coming out of Taiwan suggest the
smartphone will be released in July alongside the ZenFone 7, which is plausible
since the ROG Phone II was announced in July last year.
