ZTE introduced its newest creation to the
world exactly one week ago, on March 23. We're talking about the Axon 11 5G
smartphone. Today it has officially become available online in the company's
home market of China.
You can grab an Axon 11 5G from CNY 2,698,
which roughly translates into US$ 379 or € 344 at the current exchange rates. This
amount of cash nets you the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If
you want the 8/128GB model, you'll have to pay CNY 2,998 (US$ 422, € 382), and if you
go all in with 8/256GB the price is CNY 3,398 (US$ 478, € 433).
The phone may or may not be launched in
other countries in the future. Previous Axon models did escape China, so we're
hopeful that the same will ring true for the Axon 11 5G one day. Do expect
pricing to be quite different, when that happens, though.
The ZTE Axon 11 5G has a 6.47"
1080x2340 AMOLED touchscreen, the Snapdragon 765G chipset at the helm, a 4,000
mAh battery with 18W fast charging, a quad rear camera system (64 MP main, 8 MP
ultrawide, 2 MP macro, 2 MP depth), and a 20 MP selfie snapper housed in the
waterdrop notch up front. The handset runs Android 10 with ZTE's MiFavor UI 10
on top.
