A new Samsung smartphone with model number
SM-A217F has appeared on GeekBench’s database. The device is said to be the
Galaxy A21s and has all the dressing of a budget model.
The Samsung SM-A217F is not to be confused
with the SM-A215U which appeared on GeekBench last month packing an Helio P35
chipset. That model is expected to launch as Samsung Galaxy A21 which is a
mid-range model.
On its part, the Galaxy A21s(SM-A217F) is
listed to feature a Samsung Exynos 850 chipset which the tech giant is yet to
announce. The processor is an octa-core SoC with a base frequency of 2.0GHz.
The processor is paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone equally runs on Android 10
OS.
An earlier report by Sammobile indicates
that the Samsung SM-A217F will likely
come in 32GB and 64GB storage options. In addition, the device will pack a 2MP
macro camera. On the GeekBench test, the device polled a total of 183 points on
the single-core test. On the multi-core test, it scored 1074 points.
