Motorola is gearing to release its first
flagship in years and we have a new set of renders from Evan Blass aka @evleaks
which give us a full tour of the device. This time around we are also treated
to a burgundy red color variant of the upcoming Moto flagship alongside the
previously seen dark blue model.
The front houses the curved 6.67"
FHD+ display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top left
corner. Yesterday we saw that the Motorola Edge which is the midrange
counterpart of the flagship Edge+ and also comes with an identical waterfall
screen. Despite the pronounced curvature, the new renders again confirm that
there is room for the volume and power buttons on the right-hand side of the
device’s frame.
Going around the back we spot the three
cameras aligned vertically, including a 108MP main shooter. It’s joined by a
16MP ultrawide unit and an 8MP telephoto module with 3x optical zoom. We can
also spot an LED flash and the signature Moto dimple.
The top features a 3.5mm headphone jack
while the bottom houses the SIM slot, USB-C connector and speaker grille. The
Motorola Edge+ is expected to come with the Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with
up to 12GB RAM, mmWave 5G connectivity and a 5,000mAh battery
