Xiaomi is about to launch the Mi 10 and Mi
10 Pro and we’ve been seeing multiple leaks for the past few weeks. The latest
one comes from China, of course, and it is a screenshot of the About page of
the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.
The image suggests the phone will have 16
GB RAM and 512 gigs of storage, along with other impressive specs. We haven’t
seen a smartphone with 16 GB RAM yet, and there are just a handful of devices
on the market that have 12 GB, so we are either looking at a revolution or a
fake image.
Looking at the image, some of the stuff
isn’t that surprising - Snapdragon 865 chipset was confirmed as soon as
Qualcomm introduced it, and a 6.4” screen with Full HD+ resolution is hardly an
innovation. What we do expect, however, is to have an impressively high refresh
rate of 120 Hz which appears to be the trend in the first weeks of this year.
The cameras are four, and the mightiest
appears to be 108 MP. We’ve seen the sensor in the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10
Pro, but the latter has one extra layer on the lens for better night images.
Whether or not Xiaomi will do the same thing to the Mi 10 lineup, we’re yet to
see.
The battery’s typical charge is listed as
5,250 mAh, and we’ve already spotted the phone get certified with a 65W charger
(that was later photographed). This means the power cell might be big, but it
will top up in no time, with rumors suggesting no more than 35 minutes.
There are still a lot of unknowns in the
air about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro phones, but they are
going to be among the first SD865-powered devices and there is a lot of hype
around them. We’ll keep following the rumor mill and update you with everything
new about the phone.
