HMD Global is expected to hold a launch
event on February 23 and already, invites are out for the event which will hold
at MWC 2020. The tech giant is expected to go official with the Nokia 1.3
during the event.
Before then, the key specs of the Nokia
1.3 has appeared online. The device is said to feature a 4000mAh battery and
come in two colour variants – Charcoal and Cyan colour options. In addition,
the budget phone is expected to come with microSD card support for storage
expansion up to 128GB.
Further details have emerged that the
Nokia 1.3 will feature a 6-inch display with a design similar to the Nokia 2.3
which was launched in India in December last year. If that turns out to be
true, it means the device will sport a waterdrop notch and a slight chin at the
bottom. The device is also said to feature a MediaTek process paired with 1GB
of RAM and 16 GB of storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. The phone will
run on Android Go.
For photography, the phone will have a
single 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
The entry-level Nokia 1.3 is tipped to carry a price tag of EUR 79.
