Dell has announced 3 new
laptops for CES 2020, 2 new XPS 13 laptops along with a new Latitude 9000
series laptop. The XPS 13 features Dell’s new first ever four sided, borderless
InfinityEdge display while running Intel’s latest 10th Gen CPU’s. The Latitude
9510 will come with a 30 hour battery life, 5G antenna support and will have
the Dell Optimizer software.
The Dell Latitude 9510 claims
the longest battery in any 15 inch business laptop, an impressive 30 hours.
Dell has managed this by using an extremely energy efficient display panel that
sips just 2W when in use. Dell also managed this by pairing this panel with the
more efficient 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor (vPro ready) and an 88 WHr
battery.
The laptop also comes with WiFi
6 support along with 5G antenna’s built into the design of the speaker housing.
The new Dell Optimizer software contains a host of software solutions aimed at
improving secure log-ins, battery life, audio, etc. to that will benefit
business users.
The Dell XPS 13 has been
updated with 2 models, the standard and the developer edition. Both laptops
will feature 10th Gen Intel Core processors and for the first time, Dell’s
newer InfinityEdge display that extends to all four corner. Made with Corning
Gorilla Glass, the XPS 13 screen now features a 16:10 aspect ratio utilizing
that little extra space and is now 25% brighter than the previous generation.
The main difference between
the standard XPS 13 edition and developer edition is that the developer edition
will come preloaded with Ubuntu 18.04LTS and while the standard edition will
come with Windows 10.
The Latitude 9510 will be
available globally March 26 starting at a price of $1,799.00 (Approx. Rs. 1.3
lakhs). The XPS 13, on the other hand, will be available in the U.S., Canada,
Sweden, UK, Germany and France from Jan. 7 and available globally in February,
starting at a price of US$ 999.99 for the standard edition and US$ 1,199.99 for
the developer edition.
