Japanese audio manufacturer
Audio-Technica announces QuietPoint ANC300TW truly wireless earphones with
HYBRID active noise-cancellation and IPX2 water resistance! At CES 2020,
Audio-Technica announces its own truly wireless earbuds with IPX2
water-resistance. Inside is a 5.8mm driver and two microphones that take
advantage of Qualcomm's AptX and Qualcomm's Clear Capture to produce the best
possible noise cancellation. This also results in three different
noise-canceling profiles: On-the-Go, Airplane, and Office/Study.
It connects via Bluetooth 5.0.
The charging case uses a DC 3.7V lithium-polymer battery while the headphones
themselves have a DC 3.7V lithium-ion battery which is rated for 4.5 hours of
playtime. The charging case adds an additional 13.5 hours which results in a
total of 18 hours of playtime.
It is expected to arrive in
North America in Spring 2020 for US$ 230. There is no word yet on PH pricing
and availability.
