We
welcomed the vivo V17 Neo in the summer, followed by vivo V17 Pro in September,
and the vivo V17 for the Russian market with a diamond-shaped camera setup in
November. And now we have another completely new device in the family,
coincidentally also named vivo V17, but this time it is official in India.
The
Indian version of vivo V17 has Snapdragon 675 chipset, coupled with 8 GB RAM
and 128 GB storage. The biggest talking point, however, is the L-shaped camera
setup, comprised of four shooters. The
main one has a 48 MP sensor, while the secondary is 8 MP and brings out an
ultra-wide lens. There are also a 2 MP depth sensor and another 2 MP snapper
for macro photos.
The
front of the phone is intriguing as well - it is a 6.44” OLED screen with
punch-hole design for the 32 MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. The display has a
Full HD+ resolution and practically no bezels or notches, if you can look past
the hole in the panel.
Other
specs of the vivo V17 include a 4,500 mAh battery with 18W charging through the
USB-C, 3.5 mm audio jack on the bottom, and Funtouch 9.2, based on Android Pie.
You can pre-book the device in either Glacier Ice White or Midnight Black, with
the price being INR 22,990 (US$ 325/€ 290).
