Chinese
phone maker Honor just announced the new Honor 20i AAPE Special Edition. The
smartphone created in collaboration with the brand AAPE will go on sale in
China today at the price of 1799 Yuan, around US$ 255 at the current exchange
rates.
The
Honor 20i will be available in two variants: Camouflage Jungle Wild Pink and
Mirage Blue. Meanwhile the rest of the hardware remains unchanged. The handset does indeed pack a 6.21-inch
screen with a resolution of 2340 * 1080 and a screen ratio of 90%. Plus it
features TUV Rheinland eye protection certification.
Other
specs on the Honor 20i include a mid-ranger Kirin 710 processor, with support
for GPU Turbo 2.0, to continuously output smooth high frame rates in games. Photography wise, the smartphone sports a
24MP main rear camera paired with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2MP depth
sensor; for a total of three cameras. Meanwhile at the front we find a single
32MP AI selfie snapper. On the software side, the device features handheld
super night scene mode, AI intelligent image stabilization, super slow motion
video and it can intelligently identify 22 independent scenes and more than 500
scene combinations.
Additionally,
the Honor 20i supports AI calorie recognition, AI smart communication
(high-speed rail mode, elevator mode), AI accompanying translation, AI smart
identification, AI sweeping and other features.
Finally,
the smartphone packs a 3400mAh capacity battery which sadly charged through a
microUSB interface. It supports dual-card dual-standby dual 4G networks and it does
have face unlock and a fingerprint scanner.
