Earlier in month, on 10th October, OnePlus launched
its flagship OnePlus 7T Pro smartphone as well as a limited edition model of
the same in partnership with McLaren, dubbed OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. While the McLaren Edition of the
OnePlus 7T Pro smartphone has been available in Europe and India, the company
has today announced that the device will be launched in China on 5th November.
OnePlus has also revealed that the smartphone will
carry a price tag of 5,299 Yuan, which roughly converts to US$ 753 for 12GB RAM
and 256GB internal storage model. The McLaren Edition differs from the standard
version only in terms of design.
It has papaya orange accent around the edges of the
rear glass and the same has been applied around the camera housing and on the
Alert Slider. The area around the cameras down to the LED flash and OnePlus
logo has a unique design which is inspired by the high-performance Carbon TPT
material found in McLaren’s Speedtail.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch notch-less
AMOLED display with Quad HD+ screen resolution, 516 PPI pixel density, 90Hz
refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. Under the hood, it is
powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB UFS
3.0 internal storage.
It comes with triple rear cameras arranged in the
same vertical fashion as the OnePlus 7 Pro. Here, the primary sensor is a Sony
IMX586 48MP f/1.6 camera with a 7P lens and OIS+EIS. It is paired with an 8MP
telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2
ultrawide-angle camera.
On the front side, the device comes equipped with a
16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX471 camera that slides out of the top frame. The smartphone
runs OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10 operating system and is powered by a
4,085mAh battery that comes with support for 30W Warp Charge 30T fast charging
technology.
