Even though the tablet market has been quite
stagnant for a while, the year 2019 introduced new-generation of modern
tablets. It seems like LG is also working on its next tablet dubbed LG G Pad 5
10.1. As the name suggests, the tablet will come with a massive 10.1-inch of
the estate on the front. Fortunately, we have the first-ever leaked images of
the device along with the expected pricing and specifications.
As per the recent report, the tablet will come with
a price tag of USD$367. Coming to the launch details, the
tablet should first hit the Chinese market along with other major global
regions. The leaked images show the LG G Pad featuring grey metal unibody on
the back. Although we might see more colour options during the official
unveiling.
Coming to the specifications, LG G Pad 5 10.1 will
feature a massive 10.1-inch Full HD+ display and an aspect ratio of 19:10.
Unfortunately, the exact resolution is still unknown. The tablet is seen
featuring traditional design elements such as thick bezels and metal unibody.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. For
imaging, there is a single 8MP camera sensor located at the back while the
front consists of 5MP front snapper for selfies and video calling.
All of these is backed by a massive 8,200mAh battery
packed inside. Furthermore, the tablet consists of a dual speaker grille and
the latest USB Type-C port on the bottom. The tablet should come with an LTE
support and will run on the latest Android 9 Pie software. Apart from this, we
don’t have any other information about the product. Since the launch should be
near, we might see more details hitting the rumour mill in the coming days.
