Today, Xiaomi released a new home appliance, namely
the Mijia Sweeping Robot 1C. The pre-sale has already begun. It comes with a
built-in intelligent electronic control water tank, 2500Pa super suction, and
is priced at 1299 yuan (US$ 183).
The Mijia Sweeping Robot 1C is equipped with a
high-speed visual navigation system. Due to this, the feature points are
collected up to 30,000/s. This helps to quickly capture coordinate information,
extract complex spatial features, and create faster and more accurate maps.
It also uses a professional OV vision sensor to
simulate the neural network algorithm. With 50 times/second path calculation,
it can maintain a dynamic survey during the journey. In fact, the map drawing
is more accurate and efficient. The visual navigation is matched with the dual gyroscope and the
optical flow sensor with multiple auxiliary positioning. So it can obtain the
position information more accurately and completely.
The Mijia Sweeping Robot is equipped with a
CortexTM-A7 quad-core data processing chip and dual-core Mali 400 image
processing unit. With a VSLAM algorithm, it has more computing power and can
locate the exact position of the robot in real-time and intelligently draw the
working path.
At the same time, the Japanese powerful brushless
motor of NIDEC has strong suction. The fuselage is equipped with 15
types of high-precision sensors. They have stronger environmental adaptability
and help the cleaner to better avoid falling, collision, and bypass obstacle.
As said above, this vacuum cleaner sports a 200ml
intelligent electronically controlled water tank. The water throughout is
automatically controlled during the whole process. So the floor is protected,
and the water is used smartly and economically.
