Plantronic recently
released a line-up of true wireless earbuds as an addition to the already known
BackBeat family. These latest earbuds will have different wearing styles to
meet the unique needs of consumers based on their daily activities.
The company claims
that the Backbeat series is known for its high-quality audio, stable
connectivity, innovative technology, durability, comfortable fit, and long
battery life. They described the earbuds as ultra-lightweight that comes in a
portable case with an extra battery for those always on-the-go. There is a
feature in the Backbeat app called “My Tap” to enable command customization for
all true wireless products. With this function, users set their playlist,
timer, and interval training.
BackBeat PRO 5100
is the first true wireless edition to the BackBeat PRO line. This is considered
the smallest and lightest true wireless offering Poly has ever created. It was
also stated that these earbuds are specially made for people who lead a
connected lifestyle with a need to maximize productivity while minimizing the
number of devices they carry. As for its special features, this has four noise-canceling
mics, exclusive WindSmart technology that tunes out background noise, and
ultra-comfortable noise-isolating ear tips. Also, each earbud can carry a
charge of up to six and a half hours plus an additional 13 hours of power with
the pocket-sized charging case. It is available in black only.
For fitness
enthusiasts, there is BackBeat FIT 3200 that claims to give maximum stability
with noise-isolating ear tips to offer an immersive listening experience while
working out. Plantronics said that this is highly suitable for athletes who
want a lightweight design that is sweat-proof and IP57-rated waterproof with
super-secure ear loops and comes with three ear-tip sizes. Awareness mode was
included for flexibility in hearing surroundings to increase alertness. Each
earbud has up to eight hours of listening time, plus an additional 16 hours
with the case. This goes in black and teal color.
BackBeat FIT 3150
is considered as the next-generation of the BackBeat FIT 3100. These true
wireless sport earbuds are created for urban running. Just like the BackBeat
FIT 3200, this is also sweatproof and IP57-rated waterproof. This includes Always Aware™ ear tips that
allow the user to hear background sounds for safer training. These earbuds plus
its carrying case have enough battery life to fuel one week of workouts – up to
24 hours. They are available in two colors: Black and Black-Blue.
Lastly, there is
BackBeat FIT 6100 for those who appreciate multi-sport functionality. The
adjustable sport-fit headband has an IPX5-rated water-resistant and sweatproof
design, 40 mm angled drivers, and noise-isolating earcups with “Awareness” mode
and up to 24-hour battery life. You can choose to buy it from three color
options: Available in Black, Camo and Pepper Grey.
There's no word
regarding the prices yet, but the BackBeat PRO 5100, BackBeat FIT 3200,
BackBeat FIT 3150 and BackBeat FIT 6100 are going to be sold soon on
