One of the Xiaomi eco-chain enterprises released its
new travel charger. The MR CHARGER (aka Xiaomi idmix) is considered to be a
super travel charger, which not only serves as a powerbank but also a charger.
The MFi version is priced at 269 yuan (US$ 37), while the Type-C version is priced
at 219 yuan (US$ 30).
The Xiaomi idmix Super Travel Charger combines the
functions of charger/charge line/power bank and is compatible with British,
Australian, and European adapters. It can be quickly switched between them. So
you don’t have to use a bunch of data cables when you go out. This simply means
you acquire one product for all purposes. Well, for three purposes, at least.
This Super travel charger has a built-in foldable AC
pin. So you can plug it in the socket to charge itself. This product also
supports side charge. So even if the hotel only has one charging port, you can
also charge the phone.
As we are dealing with a power bank, it’s quite
interesting what a capacity the battery has inside. It turns out the Xiaomi
idmix sports a built-in 10000mAh lithium battery (the rated capacity is
6500mAh). In other words, it can charge the Xiaomi Mi 9 2 times or the iPhone
XS 2.2 times.
The Super Travel Charger Apple MFi certified version
has a data line output power of up to 5V/2.4A. Thus, the charging speed is
about 2 times faster than that of 5V/1A equipment. Moreover, it can charge the
iPhone XS Max with the C-Lightning line to 40% in 30 minutes.
The total output power of the Super Travel Charger
is 5V/3A or 15W. So when working alone, USB-A, Type-C own line, and Type-C port
output power will reach 5V/3A or 15W.
