The vivo U10 announced in India yesterday has made
its way to China, but under a different moniker - vivo U3x. The vivo U3x sports a 6.35"
HD+ display and has a Snapdragon 665 SoC under the hood. It runs Android Pie
with Funtouch OS 9.1 atop and you get three memory options - 3GB/32GB,
3GB/64GB, and 4GB/64GB. The smartphone also has a microSD card slot, allowing
storage expansion by up to 256GB.
For photography, the U3x has an 8MP selfie shooter
on the front, and a 13MP main camera on the back joined by an 8MP ultrawide and
2MP depth sensor modules. The back of the phone also houses a fingerprint
reader for biometric security.
The vivo U3x comes in Black, Blue, and Red colors,
and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The U3x will go on sale in China
from September 29. Its base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at
CNY 799 (US$ 110/€ 100), and you will have to shell out CNY 100 (US$ 15/€ 13) more to
double the storage. The higher-end version, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, is
priced at CNY 999 (US$ 140/€ 130).
