vivo just announced a new budget addition to its
portfolio - vivo U10. Powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC, it boots Android
Pie-based Funtouch OS 9.1 and comes in three memory versions - 3GB/32GB,
3GB/64GB, and 4GB/64GB. The phone also has a slot for microSD card, allowing
storage expansion by up to 256GB.
The U10 is built around a 6.35" 19.3:9 HD+
FullView Display, that has a notch up top housing the 8MP selfie camera. Around
the back, it has a fingerprint reader keeping company to the triple camera
setup aligned vertically in the top-left corner. This camera setup is a
combination of a 13MP main, 8MP ultrawide angle, and 2MP depth sensor units.
The vivo U10 is offered in Thunder Black and
Electric Blue colors and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging
support. It also comes with an Ultra Game Mode which includes features like 4D
Vibrations and Voice Changer.
The U10 is priced at INR 8,990 (US$ 125/€ 115) for the
3GB/32GB variant and asks for INR 1,000 (US$ 15/€ 13) more to double the storage. The
top-end model, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, will set you back INR 10,990
(US$ 155/€ 140). The U10 will go on sale in India from September 29 through the
company's official site and Amazon.in.
