Microsoft has confirmed that it will be holding an
event on Oct. 2 in Manhattan U.S. at 10 AM ET. The Redmond based company is
expected to announce the 2-in-1 Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3. A fresh
report on Winfuture.de has leaked the configurations of the Surface Pro 7.
According to the report, Microsoft may release 5
variants of the Surface Pro 7 in Europe. These include base model with Intel
Core i3 processor that features 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of SSD storage. There are
two Intel Core i7 models may come in 128 GB SSD and 256 GB SSD storage choices.
Both models could be equipped with 8 GB of RAM. There are two Intel Core i7
variants with 256 GB and 512 GB SSD storage. Both models may come with 16 GB of
RAM.
The new Surface Pro 7 is expected to be fueled by
10th generation Intel Core processors. As far as the design is concerned, it
resembles the predecessor model, but offer users with a slightly larger screen
space with slim bezels. While previous rumors claimed that there could be some
Snapdragon 8CX models, the new report has no mentioning about it. Also, it has
no information on the pricing of the Surface Pro 7.
On Oct. 2, Microsoft may not launch a new edition of
the Surface Book. However, it may launch a Surface Laptop 3 that may sport a
15-inch display. It is expected to arrive as a competitor for the MacBook Pro.
