Hewlett-Packard has unveiled a new laptop this week
in the form of the HP Elite Dragonfly which is the first laptop built by HP
using recycled ocean-bound plastic. The small lightweight business laptop is
equipped with 4G LTE connectivity and a rechargeable battery capable of providing
a full days work.
The HP Elite Dragonfly is powered by up to an Intel
Core i7-8665U quad-core processor supported by 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR3 memory,
(unfortunately soldered to the motherboard) and up to 2TB of PCIe NVMe solid
state storage. HP is offering three different options for the 13.3 inch display
in the form of a 1 watt, 400-nit full HD display, 4K HDR 550-nit display or
HP Sure View Gen 3 1000-nit display, complete with
adjustable viewing angles to prevent sensitive information being seen on your
screen by third parties as they pass by. Plenty of other security and
privacy features have also been added by Hewlett-Packard to the enterprise
laptop including a privacy camera, integrated privacy screen that instantly
blocks prying eyes and HP multi-factor authentication. “Fortify your security
with up to three authentication factors, including fingerprints and facial
recognition.”
