Cherry Mobile just launched the Omega X, a possible
bang-for-the-buck smartphone option for PHP 3,999. Cherry Mobile Omega X highlights
a 2.5D curved glass back, metallic-like polycarbonate frame, and a 2.5D
6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 glass front with a tiny notch.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.0GHz 64-bit 16nm P23
octa-core processor paired with Mali-G71 MP2, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage,
2,800mAh. Some may think that 2,800mAh is small, but since it uses a
power-efficient chip and an HD screen, we can expect it to still quite last.
For the cameras, it has a 13MP main camera with AF
and LED flash. In front, it has an 8MP snapper. Sadly, there's no face unlock.
But, it has 700MHz 4G LTE connectivity.
