Yesterday, Samsung launched the Snapdragon 855
chipset powered Galaxy Tab S6 flagship tablet. Recent reports have revealed
that the South Korean company will be debuting a couple of new tablets in the
coming months. One of them is the Galaxy Tab A3 XL that has appeared as
‘gta3xlwifi’ on Google Play Console with some key specs and an image.
The appearance of the Galaxy Tab A3 XL on Google
Play Console has revealed that it features a display that supports full HD
resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It offers an aspect ratio of 16:10. It offers
a pixel density of 240 ppi. The device is running on Android 9 Pie OS. It will
come with Samsung’s custom UI.
The Exynos 7904 chipset that includes 1.8 GHz
octa-core processor and ARM Mali G71 graphics is present at the helm of the
Galaxy Tab A3 XL with 3 GB of RAM. The Exynos 7904 is a mid-range chipset also
powers the Samsung Galaxy M30 smartphone. The Tab A3 XL that has appeared today
is only its Wi-Fi variant. The company may also release an LTE version of the
tablet. Shown below is the image of the device that has appeared on Google Play
Console.
In February, a Bluetooth SIG listing of Samsung
SM-T515 was spotted. It had revealed that the device will be arriving in the
market as Galaxy Tab A3 XL. In the same month, the SM-T515 tablet had debuted
as Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). It also features Exynos 7904, 3 GB of RAM, Android
9 Pie OS and a display that supports 1920 x 1200 pixels. Hence, it appears that
the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) could be made available in some markets as Galaxy
Tab A3 XL.
In related news, a SM-T545 tablet from Samsung
featuring Snapdragon 710 chipset was benchmarked on Geekbench. Its SoC was
assisted by 4 GB of RAM and it was loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. The exact
identity of the tablet is currently under the wraps.
