Samsung will soon have its top member in the Galaxy
A-line with the upcoming Galaxy A90 5G. The phone was spotted on Geekbench last
month packing the Snapdragon 855, 6GB RAM and 5G capabilities. Now, a device
baring the SM-A908B model number appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance website
confirming that we are nearing the launch date of the Galaxy A90 5G.
The new certification doesn’t reveal much about the
upcoming phone apart from the fact it will run on Android 9 Pie and will
support dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. According to older rumors the device will
feature a 48 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP camera setup alongside a “Tilt OIS” feature.
Unlike earlier rumors of a Galaxy A80-like flip-up camera, both versions of the
A90 will offer a traditional non-motorized setup.
In addition, the Galaxy A90 will also appear in a 4G
version with the SM-A905 model number and a slightly different camera setup
consisting of a 48MP+8MP+5MP array. According to recent speculations, both
versions will come with 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED displays with FHD+
resolutions.
