The Oppo Reno2 F also has a 48MP sensor in the main
camera, but it isn’t the Sony one (seems to be the Samsung ISOCELL GM1).
Instead, Oppo picked up a 1/2.25” sensor and placed behind a slightly darker
f/1.79 lens. The 8MP ultra wide camera and the two portrait cams are the same
as on the Z phone.
The other major change is the Helio P70 chipset. It
gets to keep the 8GB of RAM, but the storage is halved – still, 128GB is plenty
of room for your files. Camera and chipset aside, the Oppo Reno2 F is the same as the Z. That
means a 6.53” AMOLED display, regular pop-up for the 16MP selfie camera and
4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 20W charging.
There’s no word on pricing yet, the phone will go on
sale in November.
