Lenovo has just launched the ThinkBook 13S in the
Philippines. The company said that it is a 13-inch laptop "designed for
the young workers" of this era. The ThinkBook 13S comes with a
sleek, magnesium-infused aluminum finish which aims for a premium look.
It has a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 FHD IPS anti-glare
display with bezels measuring at just 5.55 mm. It also has Dolby Vision HDR
technology for increased brightness, expanded contrast, amazingly accurate
color, and more detailed images. There are two variants for the ThinkBook 13S. Both will run on 8th
Gen Intel Core i5 processors, 8GB onboard memory, and 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD
storage.
Both also have a battery life of up to 11 hours with
a Rapid Charge feature that can replenish the battery up to 80 percent in just
an hour. The difference between the two is that one will come with an AMD
Radeon 540X GPU and Windows 10 Home OS plus a 2-year Carry-in Warranty while
the other will have Integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics, Windows 10 Pro OS, and
1-year Carry-in Warranty.
Both will also come ThinkShield security suite that
includes Smart Power On fingerprint recognition, Fast Identity Online
authentication, dTPM 2.0 encryption, and a ThinkShutter webcam cover.
The ThinkBook 13S will be available in Lenovo
Exclusive Stores at SM North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, and SM Megamall, as well as
Thinking Tools at SM City Cebu. The AMD Radeon variant is priced at PHP 54,990 while the Intel UHD
620 variant goes for PHP 58,990.
