Google Nest Hub

Google today has launched the Google Nest Hub with built-in Google Assistant in India. It was originally introduced as the Home Hub in the US last year, and lets you use your voice to get the best of Google—Search, YouTube, Google Photos, Calendar, Maps and more—right on Google Nest Hub’s display. It comes with a 7-inch touch screen display that fit right into your home.

The Nest Hub doesn’t include a camera, so you feel comfortable placing it in the private spaces of your home. There is an ambient EQ light sensor present on top and it allows the screen to automatically adjust to match the lighting in the room. Thanks to Routines, Hub can provide useful info about the day ahead. At home, it can help you with guided step-by-step cooking recipes. When not in use, the Nest Hub can be used as a smart photo frame, which can display your best memories from your Google Photos or a curated set of wallpapers. It comes with ‘Voice Match’ where up to six people in the home can get their own personalized Routine.

It has Full-range speaker for the best video and audio experience for YouTube, Netflix and Hotstar streaming as well as music streaming from sevices like Spotify, YouTube Music, Gaana, JioSaavn etc. The 2-mic array picks up your voice clearly and lets you make audio calls. You can mute the mic using a dedicated switch at the back. You can use the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet to cast media to the Nest Hub. It has support for WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Google Nest Hub comes in Chalk and Charcoal colors, is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available from Flipkart, Croma, Reliance and TATA Cliq starting today. As a part of launch offer, every buyer of a Google Nest Hub will also get a Google Assistant compatible Mi Home Security Camera for free. This offer can be redeemed at Flipkart and Tata Cliq, and is valid for a limited period.
