Xiaomi India seems to be on a roll with the
announcement of new colors for its products. Just a few hours after announcing
the new Astro White variant for the Redmi Note 7 series, it has also unveiled a
new color variant for the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i.
The power bank is now available in Sandstone Black
though the body is still built from a combination of PC and ABS. The new finish
is stylish and classy and should provide a comfortable grip. The white variant
is no longer available.
Other than the change in color, all the other
features are still unchanged. So you have two output ports, support for two-way
18W Quick Charge, and the use of high-density lithium polymer batteries. It
will charge the Redmi K20 Pro 3 times, the Redmi Note 7 Pro 3 times and the
iPhone 8 7.2 times.
It also supports low power charging for devices like
headsets and the Mi Band and has nine layers of circuit chip protection. The
new 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i is also made in India. You can purchase a unit on
Mi.com for INR 1499 (US$ 21).
