Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has posted new teaser that
shows the color display of the Mi Band 4 and bands in different colors,
including Red, Blue, Black, Brown, Light Brown and more. Xiaomi’s MIJIA or Mi
Ecosystem brand has officially confirmed that it will introduce the Mi Band 4,
successor of last year’s Mi Band 3 at an event in China on June 11th. The
company has confirmed that the new Mi Band will finally move to a color screen
and promises better battery life compared to the Band 3.
Recent leak showed OLED color screen with a large
display area, heart rate sensor on the back and a charging connector on the
back, while earlier bands had a charging connector on the bottom.
Recent certification with model numbers XMSH08HM and
XMSH07HM revealed Bluetooth 5.0 support and the XMSH08HM is the NFC model. It
is said to come with a 135mAh battery, compared to 110mAh battery in the
predecessor. It rumored to be priced starting at 199 yuan (US$ 28). We should know all the details when it goes official next Tuesday.
