Teclast is a traditional Chinese manufacturer that
has been in the market for many years and is now a well-established brand in
the tablet and laptop segments. Recently, the company released not one, but two
devices: Teclast P80X Android tablet and Teclast F5R Windows 10 laptop. The
pricing is yet to be known, so let’s check out their main specs.
Teclast P80X
The P80X is the company’s first Android 9 Pie tablet
and is placed in the compact tablets category since it comes with an 8″ HD
display. To power the device, Teclast chose a processor from Unisoc. The Unisoc
SC9863A is an 8-core SoC featuring 8 ARM-A55 cores reaching 1.6GHz clock speed
and supports 4G/LTE networks as well as Bluetooth and GPS. The CPU is backed by
2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage so it’s safe to assume that it will be
a pretty affordable tablet.
Teclast F5R
In addition to the P80X tablet, Teclast released the
F5R laptop that comes loaded with Windows 10. The F5R is a compact laptop to
carry around all the time since it sports an 11.6″ FHD display with touch
support. The display is 360° rotatable and with just a flip you can turn your
laptop into a tablet. What’s more, it is powerful enough even for more advanced
users as it sports the Intel® Celeron™ N3450 CPU backed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB
of internal storage. It’s just 13mm thick and weighs just 1Kg. Lastly, there is
a USB Type-C port that acts as a quick charging port as well.
