OPPO is expected to launch a mid-range model dubbed
OPPO K3 later this month. The model has popped up a couple of times on leaks
gifting us the key specs. The K3 has been spotted on China Telecom website’s
product library confirming the full specifications we should expect on the
device.
From the listing, OPPO K3 comes with the model
number PCGM00 and packs a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 2340×1080
pixels. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The device also
packs a dual camera setup at the rear comprising a 16MP+2MP sensors. For
selfies, there is equally a 16MP selfie shooter which will likely sit on a
notch, although there are rumours the device will have a pop-up selfie shooter.
The price of the K3 is even listed as 2199 yuan (US$ 322). Interestingly, the
device comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Thus, we find the
pricing unbelievable for such specs. There may likely also be a 6GB RAM variant
with an even cheaper price tag.
Further, the OPPO K3 comes in three different
colours; Nebula purple, black, and white. It also uses a USB-C interface and
will support 20W fast charge. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack. OPPO is yet to announce when the
K3 will go official.
