Huawei has introduced a special variant for the
Huawei Y7 Prime (2019). Dubbed the Huawei Y7prime (2019) faux leather limited
edition, the new device joins the regular version that was announced some months
back. The device has a beautiful beige faux leather back and a bump from the
32MO ROM on the previous model to 64GB ROM, and that is about the only
differences.
The device is available to buy now in Pakistan for
PRK 30,999 (US$ 220), but it’s unclear what other markets will get it. The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 features
the all-new Dewdrop display fitted with a water-drop notch, a sleeker design,
improved camera, and a lot more, all at a bargain price.
The device is fronted by a 6.26-inch IPS panel with
HD+ resolution and a 16MP selfie cam fitted into the dew-drop notch, while it
is powered by the Snapdragon 450 coupled with 3GB RAM, and 64GB/32GB ROM. It
comes with a 13MP main camera sensor assisted by a 2MP depth sensor while there
is a fingerprint scanner at the back. A major highlight of the device is its
4000mAh battery which is touted to last more than 24hrs of regular use, and on
the software front, the Huawei Y7 Prime (2019) boots EMUI 8.2 on top of Android
8.1 Oreo, though there are possibilities the new Huawei Y7 (2019) faux leather
limited edition will get Android Pie out of the box.
