A new retro games console has been launched via
Kickstarter this week created by the team at ARES Computers based in Duisburg,
Germany. Designed to offer a “true console” experience with access to thousands
of games from the past, present and future, the console is powered by a
spiritual successor to Commodore Amiga OS.
Pledges are available from € 99 for the IndieGo XS
Barebone, while the IndieGo XS is priced at € 199 and the IndieGo Classic retro
games console is available from € 299. Its creators explain a little more about
the retro console and its construction.
